I am reaching out to express a concern that I believe many creators, including myself, are facing. As of now, it will take an immense amount of time for me to re-upload all my beats to enable YouTube Content ID on them. This process is extremely time-consuming, and it will likely take me a lifetime to complete.
Additionally, I have encountered a significant issue where multiple artists have enabled Content ID on my beats (which they are using without an exclusive license). This has severely impacted my YouTube revenue, as I am forced to submit copyright removals or issue disputes, often leaving my earnings in escrow until the matter is resolved.
While I am incredibly grateful for the option to enable Content ID on new releases via BeatStars, I am unable to do this for my existing beats. I kindly request that you consider adding a feature to enable Content ID for previously uploaded beats. This would allow me to effectively protect my intellectual property without the need to re-upload hundreds of tracks or modify numerous YouTube videos and links.
Thank you for your attention to this matter. I look forward to hearing from you and hope a solution can be found.
Thank you for reaching out with your feedback regarding Content ID.
We completely understand that being able to register your already published beats would be an extremely valuable enhancement to our Content ID product. Unfortunately, this isn't technically feasible at this time. However, we recognize the importance of this functionality and will certainly explore ways to implement this capability as we continue to develop and improve the Content ID feature.
Your feedback helps shape our product roadmap, and we genuinely appreciate you taking the time to share your thoughts with us.
Thanks again for your valuable input!
As an engineer I sometimes have to go to producer's Pro Page's and in some instances there is no download button when you click on the beat, only when you go back to the part of the page where you can see all of the beats, manually find the beat and the click that obnoxiously small download button. Probably a glitch but might be productive to look into it too!
