When I am trying to find a song that suits my vibe or resonates with me, I am browsing songs of a genre. If something clicks, I like it and start writing my dummy lyrics. Now imagine it took me a few days or weeks to finally get the song lyrics ready. By the time I'm back to purchase it, the tracks gone. I find my efforts wasted and a song that I spent hours working on just on paper.
So my suggestion is: 1. Either if a song has potential buyers, place a tag on it that let's us know that this song is in demand and potentially can be sold off so we need to act fast.
2. Have a capability to show interest to let the producer know that potentially someone is planning to buy a lease or the song but needs some time - during that time the person who showed interest may be contacted before the song's sold and taken off the catalogue.
