The new BeatStars Studio update automatically added moods & instruments to ALL my tracks. I’m super frustrated and disappointed by this because I don’t use either. I always leave them blank and have been doing so for years.
I can’t bulk edit the “moods” as “nothing” because it only allows for adding moods and not removing, you can’t update your tracks as 0 moods. Why? You can do so with the description so why not moods? Also, there is no bulk editing for “instruments” so there’s no hope for me in that. Now I have to manually edit over 300+ beats. **cry**
Please! I’m quite literally begging for a way to bulk edit track instruments and moods but in a way that we can make it nothing. Some of us don't want to add any moods or instruments.
Please..please..please
Kind Regards,
~ Coin
Thank you for reaching out with your suggestion!
We completely understand the frustration around not having bulk options to remove metadata, particularly for instruments and moods. However, we’d like to reassure you that having these additional metadata fields on your tracks only enhances their discovery—it doesn’t negatively impact track exposure.
That said, we recognize the value of adding more flexibility for bulk editing. We will definitely consider introducing expanded bulk editing options in the future, not only for tracks but also for other product listings.
Thanks again for your invaluable feedback—it’s greatly appreciated!
Side note: I did not enable the “Autofill” option at all. Some of my beats from years ago were automatically assigned moods and instruments without the autofill option even being clicked on. This isn’t my fault and I don’t feel like it’s fair on me to go and edit over 300 beats manually.
