Hey guys, I feel like more needs to be done to inform artists that the downloads they receive on BeatStars are not for public release.
Firstly, just changing the name to 'demo download' would be great as it is more transparent about what it is actually there for and less misleading as a title.
Secondly, when the artist goes to download the beat, a little prompt could also reinforce what the download is intended for and that a lease must be purchased to release on any platforms.
This would save on a whole lot of confusion and a constant string of headaches in terms of copyright infringement for producers. It's a nightmare.
