I have just under 1,000 collaborations on Beatstars, but because collab plays don't count towards me as the sample maker, and because I have a very small type beat channel that doesn't get nearly as much traction as my collaborators, I have very few plays on my account. Please count collab plays towards both the sample maker and the drum maker. Some of my collab beats have 100k plays, but not 1 of those plays counts towards me as the loopmaker. If we both made 50% of the beat, we should both benefit from it, at least in my opinion. This would help the sample/loop maker community so much, and allow more sample makers to earn their 1M plays plaque, as well as give more sample makers the credibility and social proof to help boost their business. I believe this will encourage even more collaboration, which at the end of the day, is a beautiful thing. If you think about Spotify releases, whenever 2 artists release a song together, that final product shows up on both artist's accounts, and helps boost both artists equally, it should be the same for sample makers! Thank you for your consideration.
