Hello - do you all take roadmap input for your product managers?
A couple ideas
1. Looking at my play stats (and even how much I listen to other producers), sometimes it feels like BeatStars is as much of a music listening service as a marketplace for producers.
Could you all launch a subscription listening service that gives people background music to listen to for five bucks a month? Could see it being a huge recurring revenue source for you all (and with a profit split with artists, naturally). Judging by the popularity of XM’s rap beats channel, I think there’s an untapped market of potential listeners at work who want a vibe but not vocals.
2. Could premium add a feature to automatically create a tagged YouTube video for each uploaded beat? (With whatever visual the artist provides?).
With ads, I’ve gotten a decent chunk of hits (200k) but anecdotally talking with other artists they get a lot of inbound from YouTube. Could be interesting to offer a service to artists to automatically upload beats to YouTube when they’re added to BeatStars. I would definitely pay for this - would give more time for music creation
Thanks for your consideration,

Thank you for taking the time to share your ideas with us. We appreciate you for doing so.
Your idea of introducing a subscription just for listening purposes is an interesting one. Although our platform's primary use is for licensing music, we may consider this idea in the future.
Your mention of automatically creating YouTube videos/shorts when uploading to BeatStars is something we have already considered and are planning for the future.
