Tags | Display Number of Tags in Beat(s)

Hi, I would like to ask you about a possible feature addition that would greatly improve the user experience on your platform for both artists and producers. Specifically, I am hoping that you can add the option to display the number of tags included in a beat on the license agreement menu section.

As an artist and producer myself, I know how important it is to clearly communicate the terms and conditions of a beat license to potential buyers. Currently, on BeatStars, it can be difficult to convey this information in a concise and transparent way. By adding the number of tags to the license agreement menu section, it will be easier and quicker for artists and producers to communicate the license terms to potential customers.

Furthermore, I believe that this addition would be particularly useful for producers who, like myself, use tags as a form of "audio watermark". As we know, many producers include tags that play through the beat as a way to protect their work from being stolen or used without permission. These tags are then removed upon purchase.

For myself, I leave one tag remaining at the onset of the beat for 'Basic' & 'Premium'. Both 'Basic' & 'Premium' come with lifetime unlimited rights respective to the platforms they are given. The former being unlimited digital and the latter for digital & physical. Tracked-out with radio & video monetization; the reason for tracked-out license having the option to remove the tag through purchasing the tracked-out files. Additionally, the artist(s) keep a larger majority portion of the profits either way to insentivise use of the lower tier purchases or convincing to buy a track-out license.

By displaying the number of tags in the license agreement menu section, buyers will have a clearer understanding of what they are purchasing, and what they can expect from the beat and license. It's how I make my deals slightly different from just trying to compete on a price alone basis; without limiting by the amount of streams or sells someone gets.

I would also like to note that this feature addition aligns with the values of BeatStars, which I understand to be a platform that prioritizes transparency, fairness, and empowering independent artists. By making it easier for artists and producers to communicate the terms of their licenses, BeatStars can continue to lead the industry in promoting fair and ethical business practices.

Thank you for considering this feature request. Though the platform is behind, this detail was added to the SoundClick license page and, at least for me, helped to make my licenses more understood with less after-purchase questions. It has been considered and added to the roadmaps of a few other platforms since I mentioned it to them. I believe that it would greatly improve the user experience on your platform, and I look forward to seeing it implemented in the near future.
