I've noticed that the mailing list pop-up or coupon code sign-up form appears immediately on the site, which can be a deterrent for many visitors. While I understand that BeatStars has a non-pop-up option, I believe that it would be more beneficial for producers like myself if the form were to appear after the visitor has shown interest in a beat or after scrolling for a bit.
By giving visitors the option to engage with the mailing list or coupon code sign-up form at their own discretion, we can improve the user experience and increase the chances of them staying on the site and potentially making a purchase. This change would ultimately lead to more sales and exposure for producers like myself, and would benefit the BeatStars community as a whole.
In my opinion, the best option would be to have the form appear after visitors have scrolled through some of the beats on the site, as it gives them a chance to preview the offerings before being prompted to sign up for the mailing list or coupon codes. This way, visitors will be more likely to be interested in the form, and therefore more likely to sign up.

Thank you for your comment and suggestion. Not too long ago we introduced an exit-pop-up intent that provides you with the ability to offer discounts when visitors attempt to leave your ProPage. This is a great alternative to use for what you are suggesting here. Please see the following help article, to learn how to enable this feature.

However, the idea of being able to set a time box for the mailing list pop-up is interesting and we will consider implementing such a feature for future improvements.
